ABOUT
I am a visual effects compositor based in Toronto with a B.A. in Filmmaking and over 10 years of experience in the entertainment industry. I have worked as a compositor in more than 30 movies and series, featuring ‘Del Toro's Pinocchio’ (Academy Award Winner), ‘Vikings Valhalla’ (Primetime Emmy and VES Award nominee), ‘Halo’, ‘Invisible Life’ (Cannes Film Festival Winner), ‘Malasartes and the duel with Death’ (Best Visual Effects Winner - Cinema Brazil Grand Prize), among many others.
I started compositing back in 2010 at Mono Animation (Sao Paulo, Brazil), working on full CG commercials and entertainment. My first job as a live action compositor was in 2013 at Cinefilm (Sao Paulo, Brazil), where I also had the privilege to be a VFX supervisor for 3 seasons of a Disney Channel series called ‘Que Talento!’. In 2017 I was hired by a major film studio in Brazil, O2 Filmes, which is the studio behind the Academy Award nominee ‘City of God’. I worked at O2 Filmes for almost 5 years prior to moving to Canada, in January 2022, when I was hired by Mr. X/ MPC in Toronto – and I`ve been working there since then.
